Why Do We Need Believers Authority?

By Andrew Wommack

“Many Christians have adopted a humanistic view of things. They do not realize the spiritual implication behind what is going on in their lives. What I mean by humanistic is that they only look at things on a surface level. They think most everything they encounter on a daily basis is either physical or natural. The truth is, there is a battle raging every single day in the spiritual realm. That battle is for your

heart and the hearts of every other person on earth. God is trying to influence people and draw them toward righteousness and toward Himself, to live consistent with Him so that His blessings can be manifest in their lives.

James 4:7-10. “Submit yourself, therefore, to God, and resist the devil and he will flee from you.”

To win in this war, you must know who you are and the authority you have as a believer.”

Remember that you are the temple of the Holy Spirit and this is why you have the authority as a believer. 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 and 1 Corinthians 6:17-20.

Why You Should Know What the Bible Says About the New World Order

Shalom, Barry

Are We Living in the Last Days?

What do we know about the last days? Probably not too much when you consider:

1. 60% of Christians under the age of forty claim that salvation can come through Jesus Christ/Buddha/Mohamed.

The Christian Headlines

2. 50% of church attendees do not know what the Great Commission is (Matthew 28:18-2).

Barna

3. Most Christians do not believe that the Holy Spirit is God.

Barna

4. Only 7% of the population of the world believes that the world will end in their lifetime.

Reuters

5. Harvard University elects their first atheist as their head chaplain.

6. The New World Order is a conspiracy theory. – Wikipedia

Perhaps you might be interested in learning what the Bible says about our future. The Bible is the world’s bestselling book by far, with over 6 billion sold. Mao is second with 800 million and third is Harry Potter at 400 million.

What Does the Bible Have to Say about the Future?

Ed Hinson (Liberty University)

1. There are about a thousand prophecies in the Bible.

2. About 500 have been fulfilled.

3. About 200 cover the events up to the second coming of Jesus Christ (rapture), when He comes for His saints (1 Thessalonian 4: 13-18, 1 Corinthians 15:51-58).

4. About 300 cover the tribulation period (7 years) with the New World Order, plus the thousand-year reign when Christ returns with His saints (Zachariah 14:1-4).

Ed Hinson goes on to say that he knows of no Biblical prophecy that must be fulfilled before the second coming of Jesus Christ.

Jesus said that He Would Return When the Days Were Like the Days of Noah (Matthew 24:36-44).

What were the days of Noah like? They were so wicked that God was sorry He had created the human race. Being a loving God, He gave them 120 years to repent and only 8 did (8 is the number of new beginnings, Genesis 6:1-8). Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord, but we are given grace (Romans 12:3).

Dietrich Bonhoeffer, the great German pastor who died for his faith was asked how it was possible for the church to sit back and let Hitler kill 6 million Jews. His answer: “It was the teaching of cheap grace.” He went on to say that cheap grace is the preaching of forgiveness without requiring repentance, baptism, communion without confession. Cheap grace is grace without discipleship, grace without the cross, grace without Jesus Christ. We live in a time and a culture that not only teaches cheap grace but praises it.

Interesting that the first sermon of each of these was on repentance:

1. John the Baptist (Matthew 3:1-3)

2. Jesus Christ (Matthew 4:17)

3. Apostle Paul (Acts 2:38)

4. Like the early church, God can turn the world upside down again. How?

God responds to these three actions on behalf of the human race:

1. Repentance

2. Faith

3. Obedience

What is Next?

You must have a written vision and only 3% of people do. Where there is no vision, the people perish (the word perish means lack of restraint, Proverbs 29:18).

My vision began for me with the writing of my book, “Your Body is God’s Temple.” The book was motivated by a statement in the Wall Street Journal: God told Hezekiah to write a vision in the middle of a pandemic and Hezekiah obeyed and that vision changed the world forever.

4. Jesus Christ gave us many signs that would occur before His return (Matthew 24, Luke 21). Four major signs in Matthew 24:6-8:

1. Wars and rumors of wars. There are about forty wars going on today (Wikipedia). Rumors of wars: Consider the possibility of Iran/China/Russia/North Korea/Pakistan. Massive buildup of forces on the border of China and India (Counsel of Foreign Relations).

Keep in mind that the word “fire” is mentioned 27 times in Revelation. Now consider the countries that have nuclear weapons today:

1. USA

2. China

3. India

4. Pakistan

5. Israel

6. UK

7. France

8. North Korea

9. Russia

10. Iran desperately wants one

Consider today that the Taliban in Afghanistan now possess about 80 billion dollars of the latest and best USA military equipment. This translates into about 6 million different weapons, plus billions in cash.

2. Famine – World on the brink of the largest famine ever, according to the UN and Oxfam. Bloomberg - the largest food supplier in the USA is Sysco who say that their shelves are empty and cannot fill all orders for customers.

3. Pestilence/Pandemics/Plagues

These are mentioned over 100 times in the Bible. Joel Rosenberg (the Joshua Fund): “Most plagues in the Bible are God’s judgment

on a nation of people.” Jim Showers (Friends of Israel) says that all are a sign of God’s judgment.

4. Earthquakes. About twenty thousand earthquakes in the year 2020, which is 55 per day. – National Earthquake Center

How Did Jesus Christ instruct us to react to these four signs today? Matthew

24:5-8:

1. Expect false prophets to come.

2. Do not be troubled (frightened). These things must come but the end is not

yet.

3. This is the beginning of sorrows (birth pains).

Something to think about:

There has been a sudden decline in the world’s greatest power, which is the USA (and I love the USA. Lived and worked there for ten years). Since the USA is not mentioned in Biblical prophecy, should we be concerned?

A little history: Rome fell for three major reasons:

1. Financial debt (the world debt today is about 300 trillion and COVID-19 has cost about 24 trillion – the World Bank). The US debt, which is about 21 trillion today, is projected to reach 28 trillion by 2028, which is the year that China is projected to be the #1 economy in the world.

2. Government corruption.

3. Immorality: the porn industry is about a hundred-billion-dollar industry today worldwide. Barna, along with Josh McDowell, say that about 65% of men and 35% of women are on porn and about 50% of pastors are on porn. Porn hub in Montreal is the

largest porn distributor in the world with over a hundred million views per day. – CTV News

Years ago, I personally met with Josh McDowell and he said, and I quote, “pornography is the number one problem in the church today.”

4. Abortion: This has become a worldwide, major sin. Millions and millions of babies have been aborted around the world. In Psalm 139:14, God tells us that each of us are fearfully and wonderfully made. God also tells us that the shedding of innocent blood is one of the seven things that are an abomination to Him (Proverbs 6:19).

5.Why You Should Know What the Bible Says about the New World Order.

I have just finished a 35-page study manual on the New World Order, and it is very frightening. The New World Order will officially begin the day after Jesus Christ returns for His church (rapture).

It is time for a New World Order. It is time to move beyond Abrahamism. It is time to revalue all values. Every Abrahamic value should be scrapped, and replaced with rational values based upon mathematics, science, philosophy and psychology. Faith should be replaced by knowledge. - Adam Weishaupp

Adeel Raja recently made this quote on CNN. “WHAT THE WORLD NEEDS NOW IS A NEW HITLER.” CNN has cut ties with her.

In the New World Order, you will not be able to buy or sell anything unless you have the mark

of the beast, 666 (Revelation 13:11-18). The number 666 is a police code for a country-wide emergency in Canada. Could the proposed vaccine passport be a precursor for 666? THE PASSPORT IS NOT 666.

6. The Rise of Russia

What does Putin really want? The European Council on Foreign Relations said, “Russia does not intend to restore the Soviet Union but does sense the weakness of Western Powers.” Many Bible scholars say that Russia is the Gog and Magog of Ezekiel 38 and 39, and that the

country will lead the attack on Israel. If you take a world globe and run a string from Jerusalem to the North Pole the string will go right through Moscow.

8. The Rise of China is Very Obvious

World Bank: The GDP in China has averaged about 10% per year since 1978. It now ranks second only to the USA and is projected to be number 1 by 2028. China, like the United States, is not mentioned in Biblical prophecy. However, an army of 200 million men is mentioned in Revelation 9:13-21. This army leads the attack on Israel, where one third of mankind are killed by fire. The remaining two-thirds of mankind still do not repent of sin. The largest armies today:

1. China 2.2 mil

2. India. 1.4 mil

3. USA 1.4 mil

4. Russia 1.1 mil

For this attack from China, the great river Euphrates, which is one of the rivers flowing out of the Garden of Eden (Genesis 2:14) would have to be dried up for an army of 200 million to cross from the East and China is east of Israel (revelation 16:12-16). The river Euphrates is 2,800

kilometers long or 1,740 miles long.

New York Times: “The river Euphrates is about 50% dried up today and will continue to dry up. The situation is so serious in Iraq that some reports say that the water left is all sewage filled.”

(Think about this! John the Apostle, when he wrote Revelation, predicted this over 2,000 years

ago. Simply amazing.)

8.Did you know that the 10 plagues that God sent upon Pharoah to release the children of Israel are all repeated in the Tribulation period (Revelation 6-17)? God kept sending plagues until Pharoah obeyed. Think about that today.

9.The final two plagues that will finally destroy the Earth as we knew it today.

1. Hailstones a hundred pounds or more. The largest hailstone to fall on the Earth today was in Bangladesh in April 1996: 2 and a quarter pounds.

2. The largest earthquake ever will occur, and it will destroy all mountains and islands plus the cities of nations (Revelation 16:17-21) but praise the Lord the new earth and new heavens are coming (Revelation 21).

10.The Bible teaches that a nation that follows God does three things:

1. Repentance

2. Faith

3. Obedience

God can restore! King Josiah, (2 Kings 22 and 23).

Quotes from two men, both now with the Lord but way ahead of their time.

How should we then live?

– Francis Schaeffer.

Whatever happened to the Human Race? The basic problem of Christians in this country in the last 80 years or so, in regard to society and in regard to government, is that they have seen things in bits and pieces instead of totals.

- Francis Schaeffer

A Christian Manifesto: When a man comes under the bloom of Christ, his whole capacity as a man or woman is refashioned. His soul is saved, yes, but so are his mind and body. True spirituality means the lordship of Christ over

the total man.

- Francis Schaeffer

Christians who understand Biblical truth and have the courage to live it out can, indeed, redeem a culture, or even create one. This is the challenge facing all of us in the new millennium.

- Charles Colson

Capitalism is astonishingly efficient at generating new wealth. But it operates beneficially only when the market is shaped by moral forces coming from both the law and the culture which are both derived, ultimately, from the Word of God.

- Chuck Colson

How Do We Live Today?

3 Concepts for your consideration:

1. Jesus said occupy (do business) (Luke 19:13).

2. Paul gives us seven godly principles to live by in the End Times (2 Timothy 3:10). This is

very personal:

a) Doctrine (teaching of God’s Word). Doctrine is the number one inspiration given by God to us in 2 Timothy 3:16. Also, the first principle of church growth is doctrine (Acts 2:42).

b) Manner of life. How we live.

c) Purpose (A setting forth of human purposes). Purpose is also translated as showbread in four places including Matthew 12:38 (significance of the table of showbread: the table of showbread was a constant reminder of God’s everlasting covenant with His people and His provision for the 12 tribes of Israel, represented by the 12 loaves. Jesus is the bread of life (John 6:35). We

celebrate His work for us with communion.)

d) Faith: Without faith it is impossible (impotent) to please God (Hebrews 11:6).

e) Long suffering: Patiently lasting an offense or hardship.

f) Charity (love). Now abideth faith/hope/charity. But the greatest of these is

love (1 Corinthians 13:13).

g) Patience: An abiding under which grows in trials (James 1:2-8).

Here is a remarkable truth! If we live in the context of the seven mentioned godly principles,

here is a list of seven amazing spiritual authority results:

1. The word koindonia in Greek is interpreted with seven different words in English. Koindonia means sharing in common or partnership:

2. Fellowship (Acts 2:42).

3. Communion (2 Corinthians 13:14).

4. Communications (Philemon verse 6).

5. Contribution (Romans 15:26).

6. Distribution (2 Corinthians 9:13).

7. Partner (2 Corinthians 8:23).

As most of us know, the number seven is the number of completion or perfection and is mentioned over 700 times in the Bible. Challenge to all of us: the more we obey the seven principles of godly living, the more we will get our eyes off ourselves and on to others.

[Remember, this is all possible because your body is God’s Temple (1 Corinthians 3: 16-17, 1

Corinthians 6:17-20).]

Conclusion

What are Our Options for How to Live Today?

1. There are over 1500 “ifs” in the Bible. God has promised that He will heal our land which means divine intervention. Here are his instructions: 2 Chronicles 7:13-15, “God appeared to Solomon after the temple was completed because He knew that mankind

would disobey again.” God said:

  • IF I stop the rain. The world is in a drought crisis according to the Los Angeles Times.
  • IF I send locust. Billions of locusts are destroying food crops in about 60 countries today, according to the National Geographic.
  • IF I send pestilence. The world is now entering the fourth wave of COVID-19.

2. Here are God’s instructions to us as He desperately wants to heal (divine intervention) our land.

  • IF we will humble ourselves.
  • IF we pray.
  • IF we seek (worship).
  • Turn from our wicked ways, which means to repent.

3. Here’s how God will respond:

  • He will hear us
  • He will forgive our sins
  • He will heal (divine intervention) our land.

Full details on this exciting principle can be found in my book, Your Body is God’s Temple (Chapter 6 and 10).

“To recognize and receive the wondrous truth of being God’s Temple is the beginning of walking and living a supernatural life.” – Michael

Ellison

Where Does the Christian Spend the Rest of Their Life?

The New Jerusalem, which is also called:

1. Tabernacle of God

2. The Holy City

3. The Celestial City

4. The City Foursquare

5. Heavenly Jerusalem

All of this occurs after Satan has been bound and sent to Hell forever to be tormented day and night in the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:1-10).

God’s final judgment has occurred, which is called the Great White Throne of Judgment, and you don’t want to go there.

There is a new earth coming (2 Peter 3:12-13). The new Jerusalem is best described in Revelation 21:

1. Fantastically huge. 1400 miles cubed (Revelation 21:15-17).

2. A new heaven and earth with a new Jerusalem adorned as a bride for her husband (verse 2).

3. There will be no more tears/sickness or sorrow.

4. There will be no sin (verse 8).

5. We will be presented as the bride of Jesus Christ (verse 9).

6. There are 12 Great High Walls with 12 angels at each wall, plus the names of the 12 tribes of Israel (verses 12-13).

7. The wall of the city has 12 gates, plus the names of the 12 disciples (verse 14).

8. Construction of the wall is jasper with streets paved with pure gold (verses 18-19).

9. The gates are with pearls (verse 21). There will be no need for the sun or stars because God illuminates the new Jerusalem through the Lamb who is Jesus Christ (verse 23).

10. We will spend our time bringing glory and honour to the Lamb (verses 24 and 26).

11. There will be no night (verse 29).

The number 12 in the Bible is the number of profession and authority.

How does one enter this incredible city? Verse 27: “Only those whose names have been written in the Lamb’s book of Life (Joel 3:1, Philippians 4:3, John 3:14-20).” Jesus is now preparing the New Jerusalem for us (John 14:1-4).

REMEMBER, BEHAVIOUR FOLLOWS BELIEF. [God created Adam and Eve in a perfect environment but gave them the power of choice.]

“We all have the right to choose. None of us have the right not to choose. But not to choose is to choose.” – Barry Borthistle

Shalom, and check out Genesis 12:1-3.

God did not promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, or sun without rain. But he did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.

If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it:

The essence of life.
